The anniversary celebration originally scheduled for the Havana Cigar Festival has been relocated, following the official cancellation of the 26th edition of the festival. Habanos shifted the first stop of its anniversary celebrations to Kensington Palace in London, delivering an event of even higher calibre.

RACHING, the only global cigar humidor brand invited to the occasion, was on-site to witness this elite private dinner.

The star of the launch was the renowned Cohiba Talismán. Initially launched as a London-exclusive limited release back in 2017, the cigar has now officially joined the core classic range as a regular production vitola to mark Habanos’ 60th anniversary. It measures 154 mm in length with a 54 ring gauge.

The dinner featured champagne, fine canapés and live Cuban music. Attendees received an exclusive three-cigar box set for the UK market. Only 6,500 boxes were produced globally, with a retail price of approximately £600.

A charity fundraising component was also part of the programme. Due to local regulatory requirements, a raffle replaced the traditional auction. All proceeds raised from the raffle will go towards public healthcare services in Cuba.
